Looks like we made it. Longer days with warmer temperatures are blooming now.

Before the 14th century, spring was called Lent in Old English. It was the time of the year when plants started springing from the ground. After a century, the season was referred to as spring-time and later on shortened to “spring.”

Let’s get started with planting and entertaining and growing. Together. Read on.

Herbs dish up panache (and freshness).

The Great Big Greenhouse has a great stash of herbs. This year, I decided to grow herbs from seed. Why not? I plan to pot them in the same large pot. Love the thought of all the green goodness together. Don’t delay since each package indicates the growing time; sow these now when summer cookouts arrive and get into full swing, you will be ready to freshen each dish with your own herbs.

We love cosmos! The sunshine colorway is a personal favorite, but they are also offered in cool hues as well. The two-pack of growing pots were too fun to resist; all from Target!
