“Double double toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble.” from Macbeth by William Shakespeare
Are you ready for some spooky fun? The Carper family has an annual “spooky dinner” for young and old goblins. Stephanie Carper Feltner’s mom, Deborah, orchestrates a special evening that offers everyone a frightfully good time. The planning begins with festive paper goods which make set-up and clean-up easy.
Here are some tricks for making your own feast; we guarantee it will be a treat.
Don’t leave home without your mummy!

Deborah buys store-made Rice Krispie treats and adds edible eyes and icing; she dips donut holes in white icing and festoons them with an orange strip glaze. Popsicle sticks are inserted for easy pick-up. Walmart has all of these essentials.
Skull & Bones & Celery.

Choose your favorite cheese ball recipe and form it into a skull. Deborah uses olives for the eyes and almonds for the mouth. Add crackers and crudites for snacking.
Name that pumpkin.

White pumpkins in the wrapper serve as both a favor and placecard. Reese’s has the best! Also, for the table, don’t forget the black and orange candles.
Stay connected.

Stephanie is ready to join her mother’s annual event!
