“What if today, we were just grateful for everything.” — Charlie Brown
At least save the turkeys for the feast! We love the seasonal decor that highlights rich brown and orange hues. In addition to traditional china plates (whether from the Dollar Tree or Williams and Sonoma), there are lots of festive paper products that could add a verve to the children’s table or leftovers. The most important ingredient for a happy day is gratitude.
At the Feltner Group, we are grateful for you, our clients, friends and family. Thank you dear readers for being on this incredible journey with us. Here, we share some tips for making this the best Thanksgiving ever.
Set a seasonal table.

We love a pretty table. Thanksgiving is the perfect time to give it your all. Since food is the main event, we are likely to linger around table so don’t hold back. Remember: you eat with your eyes first. Mix and match!
Make the children’s table FUN!

Invite stuffed and furry friends to the table. When dressed for the occasion, they add a special air of frivolity to the feast! Children will love the special companions.
Take it outdoors.

Temperatures are mild in Virginia, so why not serve the first course outdoors? We love a cup of chowder as a warm-up before the bird appears!
Last pumpkin call!

Mini-pumpkins in various forms abound this year. Gather them up, and use them in your Thanksgiving decorating. Once the day is done, place them around your yard for an after dinner feast for the squirrels.
Stay connected.
